Seeking submissions for the second volume of North End Stories

This second volume will have stories from former North Enders, but we are expanding our scope to include other Hartford neighborhoods. If you lived in the North End, the South End or the West End from the 1930s through the 1960s, share your memories of growing up in these special areas, for example—your interactions with neighbors, businesses, schoolmates, teachers, clubs, organizations, sports teams, etc.

Photos make a book, and we are looking for photos of neighborhood street scenes, clubs, organizations, sports teams, activities, and, of course, people. We are especially interested in photos of Jewish-owned businesses. The scenes and people in the photos must be identified (except for large group photos.)
