Louis "Kid" Kaplan

 

Louis "Kid" Kaplan, World Featherweight Champion, 1926, was the most famous celebrity in Hartford's sport history. As a boy he was very small and took up boxing to defend himself. He fought his way to winning the World Featherweight Title in 1925.
